Register now for Pam Borton's 2013 Minnesota Girls Basketball Summer Camps, which will take place on the University of Minnesota campus. The variety of camps offer opportunities for players of all age groups and ability levels to improve on their games in a fun, exciting environment while learning from Gopher coaches and players.

The five different camps that Borton will offer include: Elite Camp (June 17-18), Shooting Academy (June 19), Team Camp (June 21-22), Satellite Camp (June 24-27) and Gopher Day Camp (July 22-25).

• The Elite Camp - June 17-18
Grades 7-12
Resident (overnight, all meals): $185
Commuter (lunch, dinner): $150

Camp Description
Players will receive individual instruction on improving their basketball skills. Post players will be taught how to become versatile, learning the techniques of attacking the basket, ball-handling, passing, posting and scoring in the paint, high post/perimeter skills, rebounding, and perimeter and post defensive skills. Guards will work on becoming an aggressive player in all aspects with their shooting and scoring ability, passing skills, moving without the ball, perimeter defense, and much more. All campers will learn the importance of communication, leadership and teamwork and will be coached by the Gopher coaches along with some of the best high school and college coaches in the State!

• The Shooting Academy - June 19
Grades 7-12
One Day (9 a.m. - 4 p.m., includes lunch): $95

Camp Description
The shooting academy is designed to improve your shooting technique while being coached by the Gopher coaching staff and players. You will see demonstrations done by our Gopher Women players and you will learn how to create scoring opportunities to enhance your game. You will learn footwork, reading screens, quickness on release and more. These are all things you need to know to be a more effective player and scorer.

• The Ultimate Gopher Experience - June 18-19
Grades 7-12
Tuesday night-Wednesday morning: $50

Camp Description
Choose to stay after the Elite Camp ends on June 18 or come early before Shooting Academy and have dinner and a movie in Williams Arena with the Gopher players. This will include a catered dinner on Tuesday night, a one-night stay in the resident hall on campus and a catered breakfast on Wednesday morning before Shooting Academy. All campers will be supervised by Gophers players and/or camp staff the entire time.

• The Team Camp - June 21-22
High school teams with coach
Team fee: $510

Camp Description
Minnesota team camp provides a valuable learning experience and competitive atmosphere for each team, while also providing the opportunity to meet and play against other teams in the Midwest. All games are held on the University campus. High school coaches are allowed to coach their own teams, each team must have an adult coach.
• Guaranteed 5 games (at least one in Williams Arena)
• Each court will have qualified referee.

• Satellite Camp - June 24-27
Grades 3-6
8 a.m. - 12 p.m.: $150
ANOKA RAMSEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Camp Description
Campers will learn the importance of hard work, communication, teamwork, positive attitude and confidence. Through small-group instruction and team-play, campers will be taught fundamental skills such as ball-handling, shooting, passing, and defense, while being coached by the Gopher coaches and players. This is a fun camp that teaches life skills along with the fundamentals of basketball.

• The Gopher Day Camp - July 22-25
Grades 3-8
8 a.m. - 12 p.m.: $150

Camp Description
Campers will learn the importance of hard work, communication, teamwork, positive attitude and confidence.
