The Pam Borton Radio Show can be heard Monday night at 7:30 p.m. from the Stadium Village Applebee's on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Hosted by the Golden Gopher women's basketball radio team of Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist, the show can be heard live on 1500 ESPN.
Fans are encouraged to join Borton, Stathes and Sjoquist at Applebee's to catch the show live, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a great atmosphere with their fellow Gopher faithful.
On tonight's show, the trio will take a look back at the Gophers' contest at Iowa and their first Big Ten victory Sunday afternoon vs. Northwestern. Borton, Stathes and Sjoquist will also look ahead to Minnesota's pair of league road contests at Nebraska and at Indiana this week.
Sophomore Kayla Hirt will be the player guest on tonight's show. The forward is averaging 6.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this season and boasts a .471 shooting percentage. Hirt has scored in double figures four times as a sophomore, which includes a career-high 16 points vs. Colorado State, and scored her 300th career point Sunday in the win over Northwestern.
