The Pam Borton Radio Show can be heard Monday night at 7:30 p.m. from the Stadium Village Applebee's on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Hosted by the Golden Gopher women's basketball radio team of Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist, the show can be heard live on 1500 ESPN.
Fans are encouraged to join Borton, Stathes and Sjoquist at Applebee's to catch the show live, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a great atmosphere with their fellow Gopher faithful.
On tonight's show, the trio will look back at the Gophers' Big Ten opening-weekend split at Michigan State and Wisconsin, and will also look ahead to Minnesota's Big Ten home-opener Thursday night vs. Ohio State at 7:00 p.m.Redshirt freshman Kayla Hirt will be the player guest on tonight's show. The forward from Bemidji, Minn., was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time this afternoon after averaging 6.0 points and 3.5 rebounds against the Spartans and the Badgers. With a season average of 7.9 points per game, Hirt currently ranks third on the squad in scoring and fourth on the team in rebounding with an average of 4.3 rebounds per game.

Wine Event to Raise Foreign Trip Funds
Coach Marlene Stollings and her staff will hold a wine tasting event Aug. 28 to help with the Gophers' future foreign tour.
