The Golden Gophers enter the contest with an 11-4 record on the season and an 0-1 league clip following its 51-66 loss at Michigan State Thursday night in their Big Ten opener.
Wisconsin welcomes the Gophers to the Kohl Center with an 8-6 record on the season and a 0-1 Big Ten record after dropping its league opener at Nebraska on Wednesday night.
The Badgers are 6-1 on their home court this season, which includes wins over Alabama and Marquette, but have not played at the Kohl Center since Dec. 15.
Minnesota and Wisconsin will be meeting for the 66th time on Sunday, with the Badgers holding a 35-30 advantage over the Gophers in the all-time series.
On the year, Minnesota boasts an impressive .463 field goal percentage, which is the 15th-best mark nationally and is the third-highest percentage in the Big Ten behind Ohio State (.481) and Michigan (.469).
After posting 21 points at Michigan State on Thursday, Rachel Banham maintained her title as the top scorer in the Big Ten with a 21.4 points per game average.
The sophomore guard also ranks 10th nationally in scoring average.
With 901 career points, Banham needs to score 99 points to become the 21st Gopher in program history to notch 1,000 career points.
Just 15 games into her junior season, Micaëlla Riché has already surpassed her season point total from last season.
The forward has posted 190 points this season, six more points than her total from a season ago, and is averaging 12.7 points per game.
Minnesota will host No. 24 Ohio State in its Big Ten Conference home-opener at Williams Arena on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7:00 p.m.
