Minnesota Head Coach Pam Borton
"It was great to be back here at home and get ourselves back on track, bouncing back from two tough games and two very good opponents. It was nice to get out here and play and for Micaëlla [Riché] to establish herself again. It was a great team effort."
On the inside game:
"I thought we did a great job getting the ball in the paint and being patient. We went 21-35 from shots in the paint. I think that's why we shot a very high percentage in the first half as we were getting high percentage shots."
On if the two losses helped them:
"Absolutely and I think the time we've had in practice in between games, we've worked on transition defense. Sometimes it didn't look like it tonight. When you play teams like that that are both in the top 25, they really expose your weaknesses. We still have a lot of work to do but I think we've fixed some of the things in the last couple days."
Minnesota Guard Rachel Banham
On what lead to her high-scoring night:
"I think just being really aggressive coming off the screens hard. I got a lot of jump shots going. I was feeling well tonight."
Minnesota Forward Micaëlla Riché
On playing more care-free from the previous games:
"It is nice to just play basketball. The last two games have been rough, but I found myself over thinking a lot. We watched (the scouting report) and I planned it all out. I just came out not worried to much and played as I can play."
