Played in 27 games and started 14, including the last 11 in a row • averaged 4.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 13.1 minutes per game • named the Gophers’ Most Improved Player • recorded double-double in collegiate debut (10 points, 12 rebounds) vs. Harvard (11/12) • scored season-high 19 points at Penn State (2/8), adding eight rebounds • tied season high with 12 rebounds against Seton Hall (11/20) • scored nine second-half points and led the team with seven rebounds against Ohio State (1/26).
A 2016 graduate of Southfield-Lathrup High School • helped her team win Oakland Activities Association Red Division championships in 2014-15 and 2015-16 • the Chargers went 21-2 and earned a No. 3 ranking in Michigan’s Class A in 2014-15 • helped her team advance to the regional finals as a senior • 2016 AP Class A All-State Second Team selection after earning honorable mention in 2015 • named to the 2016 All-Oakland County First Team • averaged a double-double of 10.9 points and 10.5 rebounds, adding 2.4 blocks per game, as a senior • averaged 10.6 points and 9.0 rebounds as a junior, while tallying 10 double-doubles and shooting 54 percent • coached by Michele Marshall • played AAU for the Michigan Storm • McDonald's All-America nominee in January 2016.
Born October 24, 1998 • daughter of Anthony and Durojaiye Bello • twin sister of teammate Kehinde Bello • has two other siblings, Bimpe and Seni Lawal • Seni plays basketball for the Nigerian Olympic Team • intends to major in computer science.

USA Basketball today announced that former University of Minnesota guard Lindsay Whalen has been selected to the 2017-20 USA Basketball Women’s National Team pool
