Ben Bravence
Swimming & Diving
I am a senior member of the Men’s Swimming and Diving team. Outside of my sport I am studying finance through the Carlson School of Management, with the aspiration to go into management consulting upon graduation. Within SAAC I have helped create Pro Day: Gopher Athletics Career and Internship and will be serving as the SAAC president for the 2015-2016 school year.

Wiebke Derek Wiebke
Vice President
Cross Country/Track & Field
I am a junior (redshirt sophomore) on the men’s cross country and track and field team. I am planning on studying marketing and possibly human resources and/or non-profit management through the Carlson School of Management. I had not been outside of the US borders until this past summer, and this experience solidified my plans of traveling the world after graduation. Outside of my sport I enjoy participating in anything that challenges my own beliefs and exposes me to new cultures. Within SAAC I am the Unlimited Dance Marathon chair. I plan and coordinate year-long events to help support the children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital #MoveItForMasonic! This group provides student-athletes a great opportunity to give back to a great cause. Lastly, a fun fact about me is that I have a pet Dalmatian named Cooper and a pet goat named Phil - he faints.

Noah Busch
Maroon Maddness Coordinator
Swimming & Diving

I am a Junior on the Men’s Swimming and Diving team. I am attending the Carlson School of Management and am majoring in accounting and hope to get into financial consulting after school is done. Within SAAC I am the Maroon Madness Coordinator which helps foster inter-athlete support by creating events for athletes to attend to support other teams at the U of M. An interesting fact about me is that I love to hunt just about anything, so when I have the time I love to get out on the weekends and go hunt.

Wasowicz Tess Wasowicz
Cross Country/Track & Field
I am a redshirt sophomore on the women’s cross country and track team. I am a Global Studies Major with an emphasis in human rights and social justice, a Spanish minor and a Leadership minor. This year I will be the student representative for Gopher Global, a non-profit organization that participates in service learning projects to bridge the gap between student athletes and high risk youth. This summer we crossed our first international border and partnered with two organizations working to alleviate homelessness in Winnipeg, Canada. Gopher Global is currently planning its trip for the summer of 2016. During the year I will be coordinating opportunities for Gopher Global to interact with diverse communities here in our own backyard. Lastly, an interesting fact about me is that I have an irrational fear of dinosaurs (and no I will not be seeing Jurassic World anytime soon).

Ramberg Jessica Ramberg
Event Planning Coordinator
Swimming & Diving
I am a senior majoring in Art and Studies in Cinema. My main focus is on post production with video. One day I want to work with a company’s creative team in their multimedia production department. Within the SAAC executive board I am the Event Planning Coordinator. Some of the events/projects that I work on include, Golden Goldy’s, Student Study break’s at Bierman, and SAAC marketing . Lastly, a fun fact about myself is that I have a Starburst wrapper chain that extends over 60 feet long! (FYI I didn’t eat all of those Starbursts by myself!)
