Redshirt freshman Tim Bruhn placed third at the St. John’s Fall Finale in Collegeville, Minn., on Friday. Bruhn covered the 8-kilometer course in a time of 26 minutes, 16.1 seconds. Gopher alum David Van Orsdel won the race in a time of 25:57.5.

Hans Stovick added a fifth-place finish for the Gophers, clocking a time of 26:33.4. The event was a non-team scoring meet.

Also competing for the Gophers was true freshman Joe McFarland, who finished 13th in 27:33.3, and sophomore David Krueger, who placed 28th in 28:03.1.
