2011 Sophomore Season: Competed in two meets raced the Roy Griak Invitational in 27:13.60 placed second on the team and 11th overall at the Oz Memorial 6k with 19:42.54
2010 Redshirt Freshman Season:Took seventh at the Oz Memorial race with a time of 19:25.41 finished 179th overall (27:24.5) at the Roy Griak Invite placed 20th, at the Jim Drews race running a time of 25:19.2.
2009 Freshman Season:Redshirted the season.
On the Track:Will be a redshirt freshman in 2011.
High School:A 2009 graduate of Jefferson High School high school coaches were Mark Nelsen and Jerry Amundson a two-time all-state runner in cross country placed fifth in the Minnesota Class AA Championship as a senior, seventh as a junior finished 33rd in the Foot Locker Midwest Region Championship earned all-state honors as a senior in the 1,600 meters competed at state meet three times in the 3,200 meters lettered four times in cross country and track also earned three letters in Nordic skiing.
Personal: Born Nov. 22, 1990 majoring in kinesiology-pre physical therapy parents are Brett and Barbara Paradis has an older sister Megan enjoys waterskiing.
Ali, Plasencia Rep `U' At World XC
Ali finished 52nd overall in the men's U20 race, clocking a time of 26:14 for the eight-kilometer race at the Kololo Independence Grounds.
Plasencia, Ali Set for World XC Championships
Plasencia and Ali are the latest runners with ties to the University of Minnesota to represent the United States in the last year.
