2011 • Sophomore Season: Competed in six meets • earned a trip to Terre Haute, Indiana, racing 30:51 at the NCAA Championships and finishing third for the Gophers (60th overall) • ran as Minnesota's number-three runner at the Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships, placing 22nd overall with 31:49.99 • raced the Big Ten Championships in a season-best 24:17, good for 17th place overall and third-best on the team • clocked 24:32 at the Wisconsin Adidas 8K as the third Gopher to finish • placed 27th overall and third on the team at the Roy Griak Invitational, racing 24:45.8 • earned third-place team and overall honors at the Hornet Jamboree 4-mile with a time of 19:28
2010 • Redshirt Freshman Season: Academic All-Big Ten team • member of the Gopher squad who finished 27th at the NCAA championships, where he finished 175th overall (31:55.2) and fourth on the team • finished 14th at the BYU Autumn 4K Race with a time of 21:03.7 • came in at 25:26.7 (56th overall) in the Roy Griak Invite • ran at the Pre-NCAA meet finishing 76th overall, with a time of 24:49.9 for the Gophers • took 37th (24:36.4) at the Big Ten Championships • ran to a 45th place finish at the NCAA Midwest meet, posting a time of 31:11.96 in the 10K race • earned his first letter.
2009 • Freshman Season: Redshirted the season.
On the Track: Will be a redshirt freshman in 2011.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Marmion Academy • high school coach was Dan Billish • a two-time all-state runner in cross country • placed eighth in the Illinois Class 3A Cross Country Championships as a senior • earned all-state as a senior in track • placed fourth in the 3,200 meters (9:10.04) • also competed in the 1,600 meters • a four-time letterwinner in both cross country and track • an honor roll student.
