NCAA All-Region honoree • competed in six races for the Gophers, factoring into the team score in all six meets • opened the season with a new six-kilometer personal record of 19:06.2 at the Oz Memorial • also matched his best career finish with a fifth-place showing at the meet • finished 25th at the Griak Invitational, clocking a 25:38.0 • cross the Pre-National Meet finish line at 24:16.1 to finish 91st • matched his eight-kilometer personal record of 24:15.5 to finish 32nd at the Big Ten meet • earned NCAA All-Region honors with a 19th-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional, owning a time of 30:25.6 as the Gophers finished second to return to the NCAA championships for the first time since 2011 • came in 103rd at the national championships with a time of 30:59.9 • earned second letter. 


Competed in five meets for the Gophers • factored into the team's scoring for two meets and helped pick up one team title • set a new personal eight-kilometer record of 24:15.5 at the UC Riverside Invitational to open the season • finished fifth to help the Gophers land the team title at the meet • finished 46th in the Griak Invitational with a time of 25:51.1 • placed 181st with a time of 25:15 at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational • placed 65th at the Big Ten Championship with a time of 25:06.08 • finished 95th at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 31:35.8 • earned first letter.

Redshirted the 2013 cross country season • ran as an unattached competitor at the Oz Memorial and the Griak Invitational • finished 11th at the Oz Memorial with a time of 19:48.1 • clocked a 25:50.9 at the Griak Invitational, coming in 111th.

A 2013 graduate of Foley High School • three-time all-state honoree • two-time Minnesota Class A 3,200 meter state champion (2012, 2013) • helped Foley High School to the 2013 Minnesota Class A State Track & Field Championship as a senior • posted a pair of top-five performances at the state cross country meet in his prep career, finishing third as a junior in 2011 and second as a senior in 2012 • two-time conference and section cross country champion (2011, 2012) • his mother, Mona Bommersbach, was his high school cross country coach while he also ran for track & field coach David Dahlstrom.

Born March 24, 1995 • son of Tom Lawrence and Mona Bommersbach • father played football at Minnesota Duluth  double majoring in sport management and business and marketing education.
