Set a new personal eight-kilometer record of 24:15.5 at the UC Riverside Invitational to open the season • finished fifth to help the Gophers land the team title at the meet • finished 46th in the Griak Invitational with a time of 25:51.1. • Placed 181st, with a time of 25:15, at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational but was not factored in scoring. • Placed 65th at the Big Ten Championship with a time of 25:06.08. • Finished 95th at the 2014 NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 31:35.8 but did not factor into scoring.

2013 | Freshman Season
Redshirted the 2013 cross country season • ran as an unattached competitor at the Oz Memorial and the Griak Invitational • finished 11th at the Oz Memorial with a time of 19:48.1 • clocked a 25:50.9 at the Griak Invitational, coming in 111th.

A 2012 graduate of Foley High School • a two-time all-state honoree • the 2012 Minnesota Class A 3,200 meter state champion • posted two top-five performances at the state meet in his prep career • guided by head cross country coach Mona Bommersbach and head track & field coach David Dahlstrom.
