Ran in four meets for the Gophers as a junior • opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Oz Memorial, clocking a 19:35.2 at the meet • finished 75th at the Griak Invitational with a time of 25:33.6 • came in 44th at the Notre Dame Invitational with a time of 25:11.2 • closed out the season at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, finishing 278th with a time of 26:23 • Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned second letter.

Competed in four races for the Gophers as a sophmore in 2012 • opened the season with a 12th-place finish at the Oz Memorial, finishing second among Gophers runners with a time of 19:40.62 • added a 94th-place finish at the Griak Invitational, crossing the finish line at 26:56.8 • also finished 18th in the open race at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, posting a time of 25:04 • best finish came at the Fall Finale, where he placed first overall with a time of 25:01.00 • Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned first letter.
