High School:graduated from Eden Prairie in 2011 • high school coaches were Jeff Lindlief and Bruce Kivimaki • two time all state selection • three time all conference in cross country • two time Section 6AA Cross Country Champion • AA Individual State Cross Country Champion in 2009 • NXN Heartland Regional Champion (15:33 in the 5K) • Minnesota Boys Cross Country Gatorade Runner of the Year • finished 29th in the state championship as a sophomore, first as a junior and third overall as a senior • took eighth in the state championships in Nordic Skiing as a senior • graduated with honors and a gold cord after earning a 3.9 GPA.
