Gophers Give for Holidays

Dec. 18, 2013

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The No. 2 University of Minnesota Golden Gopher wrestling team will get into the holiday spirit on Wednesday afternoon as they purchase and distribute gifts in the surrounding community.

An anonymous donation was given to the Gophers to purchase toys for children of all ages during the holiday season. Today, the four Minnesota captains including Tony Nelson and Kevin Steinhaus will spend the afternoon shopping to prepare to give the gifts to children for the holidays.
