The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers will open their 2013-2014 campaign by traveling to Fargo, N.D. for the 44th annual Bison Open.
The Bison Open, which only awards individual titles, will feature schools including North Dakota State, South Dakota State, MSU Moorhead, Concordia, Southwest Minnesota State, University of Mary, Jamestown College and Northern State.
Last season, the Golden Gophers brought home five individual titles as Nick Dardanes (141), Brad Dolezal (157), Logan Storley (174), Scott Schiller (197), andTony Nelson (285) each captured individual titles after undefeated runs in the tournament. The Gophers have brought home 150 individual champions all-time at the Bison Open.
