Registration is now open for a pair of second-semester Gopher Wrestling Youth Clinics. Sessions will be held before a pair of Minnesota's Sunday home duals left on the schedule in 2016-17: First on January 15 prior to the Border Battle match against Wisconsin, and then February 12 prior to the Senior Day dual against Ohio State. Those duals are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Central.
The youth clinics, which are open to wrestlers up to eighth grade, are 45 minutes each. There is an 11:00 a.m. clinic on both days. Once a session is full, a 10:00 a.m. clinic will be added for that day.
The cost to participate in the youth clinic is $10. In addition to learning some of the finer points of the sport, young wrestlers who attend these clinics will receive a wrestling t-shirt and a ticket to that afternoon's match. Additional match tickets can be purchased at MyGopherSports.com.
Availability for all clinic sessions is first-come, first-served, so be sure to reserve your spot today by registering online at the Youth Clinic page on MyGopherSports.com
