Finished freshman campaign with 10-12 in open tournaments • Saw fourth place finish at the Bison Open where he defeated teammate Tom Giaimo • Went 2-2 at the UNI tournament • Scored 9-0 major decision over Zach Witte of Northern Iowa • Took fourth at the Flash Flanagan Open with a 4-1 decision over Dylan Shafer of UW-LaCrosse.
