Finished his first year as a Gopher with a overall record of 9-11 • Recorded one fall, two major decisions and one technical fall • Went 4-3 at the Husky Open, recording key wins against Dustin McKinney (6-4), pinning Justin Koob at 5:48 in the second round and defeating Arik Yde of UW-Parkside in a 5-3 decision in the fifth place match • Finished 4-2 at the North County Open to finish fourth overall after a major decision 14-4 win over Deon Buhl in the consolation math.
