Went 11-6 in open tournaments Finished 4-0 at the North Country Open Picked up a 18-7 major decision over Rochester's Dillion Solberg at the Open Went 3-2 at the Southern Scuffle and scored a 15-4 major against Blake Thomas of Chattanooga Scored a 16-1 technical fall over Jordan Eckholm of Mary College at the Finn Grinaker Open.
2010-11 REDSHIRTED: Finished his freshman season with a 10-8 overall record and recorded four major decisions Placed sixth after going 3-2 at the UNI Open, started with a 7-1 decision over David Demo of Minnesota State-Mankato before dropping an 8-3 decision to Northern Iowa's Caleb Flores Battled back with a 4-1 decision over MSUK's Chase Lebos and an 8-0 major decision over Iowa's Matt Gurule before falling to Iowa State's Ryak Finch via technical fall (15-0) Went 3-3 at the Husky Open.

A 2010 graduate of Cornell High School Cappeda four-year career with the Cornell/Gilman wrestling program with a 2010 state championship at 119 pounds The 2010 Chippewa County Wrestler of the Year Placed second at 119 pounds at the 2010 Asics Folkstyle Nationals Finished third in the 2009 state tournament as a junior Cornell High School's first-ever scholarship athlete and the first to compete in the Big Ten Conference.

Born Aug. 12, 1991 Son of Jim and Mary Hodowanic. Has two older brothers, Craig (25) and Eric (24). Accepted into the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences Plans to major in sport management. Corey's most memorable sports thrill was winning the state championship in high school. Corey enjoys frolfing, being with friends, and eating ice cream.
