The No. 8 Minnesota men’s indoor track and field program returns to action this weekend in a trio of events as the 2013 Big Ten Men’s Indoor Championships approaches later this month.

The majority of the Gophers will be split between the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa and the Husky Invite in Seattle, Wash. Both events are two-day competitions, running Friday-Saturday with the Gophers in action both days.

The Gophers will also send a contingency of throwers to the 2013 SPIRE NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Team Invitational in Geneva, Ohio – the site of this year’s conference championships. Minnesota will compete on the first day of the event – participating in the shot put and the weight throw on Friday.
