MINNEAPOLIS -- Luke Johnson took individual honors in the shot put on Friday at the St. Thomas Showcase, besting the competition with a distance of 16.66 meters.
Johnson -- Minnesota's only representative at the meet -- topped his closest opponent by more than two-and-a-half meters on Friday.
