With 35 team points, the Gophers are still in the hunt for a team title with Nebraska leading the way with 46.5 points and Wisconsin in second at 44.5.
The Minnesota men's outdoor track and field team scored 99 points in a winning effort at the 2013 Macalester/Bolstorff Twilight on Thursday night. The Gophers earned four individual titles for the program's second-straight team title at the meet.
The Gophers claimed nine individual titles at the Hamline Invitational and placed multiple competitors in the 800-meter run, the 1,500-meter run, the high jump, the pole vault and the discus throw.
2012 Season - Indoor: Won the mile run at the Northwest Open with a time of 4:19.30 • also ran the mile at the Jack Johnson Classic (4:15.15). Outdoor: Finished 15th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Big Ten Championships (9:02.04) • finished fourth in the 1,500 meters at the Bolstorff Twilight with a time of 3:54.96 • finished fifth in the 3,000m steeplechase at the ASU Invite (9:14.95) • also competed in the steeplechase at the Stanford Invite (9:01.75).
2011 Season- Indoor:competed in the mile run at the Snowshoe Open and placed seventh (4:14:68) • competed in the 3,000 meters in the Iowa State Classic and finished with a time of 8:33.46. Outdoor:competed in the 1,500 meters at the Musco Twilight and placed tenth (3:55.23). • competed in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Long Beach Invitational and finished with a season best time of 9:12.58
2010 Season: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Cross Country: Varsity letterwinner as a true freshman in 2009 • a member of the Gophers' 2009 NCAA Championships lineup • redshirted 2010 season.
