2012 Season - Indoor: Competed in a total of six events for the indoor season finished 15th in the pole vault at the Big Ten Championships with a vault of 15-11 3/4 finished third in the pole vault at the Snowshoe Open (16-5 3/4, 5.01m) placed third in the heptathlon at the Jack Johnson Classic with a mark of 4,737 placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles at the Northwest Open (8.90). Outdoor: Did not compete.
2011 Season: Redshirted the Indoor and Outdoor seasons.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Moorhead High School high school coaches were Tony Spandl, Lindsey Bucholtz, and Dennis Nelson 2010 Minnesota Class 2A state pole vault champion set state pole vault record at 15-8 and section record at 15-5 named Minnesota Gatorade Athlete of the Year also lettered in soccer.
Personal: Born April 7, 1992 intends to major in kinesiology son of Tony Spandl and Karen Peterson has older siblings, Jacenta and Brock brother, Brock, also pole vaulted for the Gophers sister, Jacinta, was a multi-event competitor for the Gophers (2003-07) enjoys hunting, fishing, and soccer.
