The Gophers sophomore picked up his second win of the year and first of the outdoor season after pacing the competition in the hammer throw with a winning throw of 56.7 meters (186-03 ft.).
More than 3,300 athletes and 100 collegiate teams will converge at the 29th annual Stanford Invitational track and field meet on Friday and Saturday at Cobb Track and Angell Field.
