The No. 15 Minnesota men's indoor track & field team returns to action this weekend with the fifth-annual Bill Bergan Invitational in Ames, Iowa.
The Gophers won 11 individual titles as well as the team title at the event last season.
Field events are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CT with running events to follow at 12:30 p.m.

2012 Season - Indoor: Competed in a total of five events for the indoor season leaped 22-7 3/4 in the long jump at the Big Ten Championships finished second at the Jack Johnson Classic with a leap of 23-8 (7.21m) also finished second at the Snowshoe Open placed third at the Holiday Inn Invitational (22-8) placed fourth at the Bill Bergan Invite. Outdoor: Competed in a total of 11 events NCAA West Preliminary qualifier in the 4x100-meter relay ran the fourth leg for the 4x100m relay team that finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships with a time of 40.73 finished 13th in the long jump with a jump of 23-5 1/4 won the long jump and finished second in the 100 meters (11.16) at the Bolstorff Twilight placed third in the long jump at the Golden Bear Twilight (23-6 3/4) placed second at the Tom Cat Twilight Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree Academic All-Big Ten.
2011 Season - Indoor: Big Ten Championships competitor in long jump won the Minnesota Open. Outdoor: Competed in three events.
2010 Season -Indoor: Competed in three meets. Outdoor: Competed in four meets placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles (56.48) at the Macalester Twilight Meet won the long jump at the Hamline Unsaintly Meet with a season-best leap of 22-0 3/4.
