No. 19 Minnesota Claims Nine Titles at Hamline Invitational

The Gophers claimed nine individual titles at the Hamline Invitational and placed multiple competitors in the 800-meter run, the 1,500-meter run, the high jump, the pole vault and the discus throw.

Gophers to Honor Seniors at Friday's Snowshoe Open

Friday's meet marks the final home meet of the year for the Minnesota men's indoor track and field program.

2012 Season - Indoor: Competed in a total of 12 events for the indoor season • ran a time of 8.15 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Big Ten Championships • won the 60-meter hurdles at the Snowshoe Open with a time of 8.10 • finished third in the 60m hurdles at the Jack Johnson Classic • ran a 7.20 in the 60 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational. Outdoor: Competed in a total of eight events for the outdoor season • finished second in the 110-meter high hurdles at the Tom Cat Twilight with a time of 14.97 • also finished second in the 110m hurdles at the Bolstorff Twilight • finished third in the 400m intermediate hurdles at the Tom Cat Twilight (56.74) • anchored the second-place 4x100m relay team at the ASU Invite • Big Ten Distinguished Scholar • Academic All-Big Ten.

2011 Season - Indoor: Won the 55-meter hurdles at the Bethel Invite with a time of 7.58• finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.00 at the Snowshoe Open • picked up another first place finish in the 60-meter hurdles (8.14) at the Northwest Open • crossed the line in first at the Minnesota Open with a time of 8.26 in the 60-meter hurdles • ran the third leg in the 4x400-Meter Relay which took first (3:20.65) at the Minnesota Open.Outdoor:took second in the 110-Meter high hurdles (14.30) at the TomCat Open • finished seventh at the Jim Click Shootout in the 400-Meter hurdles with a time of 53.97 • ran the first leg in the 4x100-Meter relay that took first (41.16) at the St. Thomas Quad • 4x100 took sixth at the Big Ten championships with a time of 41.16 • letterwinner

2010 Season- Indoor: Redshirted the indoor season. Outdoor: Competed in eight meets • ran the 110-meter high hurdles at the Big Ten Championships • ran the third leg of the 4x100-meter relay that placed sixth at the Big Ten meet with a season-best time of 41.07 seconds • clocked a season-best 110HH time of 14.79 at the Iowa Musco Twilight Meet • top time in the 400-meter hurdles was 55.74 seconds at the Jim Click Shootout • varsity letterwinner.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Red River High School • high school coaches were Bob Zimney and Vyrn Muir • the 2009 North Dakota Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year • three-time North Dakota Class A hurdles champion • swept 110-meter and 300-meter hurdle state titles as a senior • also finished fourth in 100 meters and second in 200 meters in 2009 • won back-to-back 110m hurdles state titles in 2008 and 2009 • best times of 14.10 in 110m hurdles and 37.65 in 300m hurdles • lettered two years as a free safety on the football team • graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
