Eight Gophers earned individual honors while Minnesota also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.

Indoor: At the Big Ten Indoor meet, set a new personal record with a high jump of 2.19 meters, good for second place. • Was named to the Second All-Big Ten Team. • Second Team All-American. Outdoor: Won the high jump title at the Virginia title with a jump of 2.20 meters, good for a new meet record. • Placed second in the high jump at the Big Ten Championships with a mark of 2.15 meters.

Indoor: Turned in top five finishes in the high jump at the Jack Johnson Classic and the Iowa State Classic. • Took sixth in the B1G Indoor Championships in the high jump. Outdoor: At the 2014 Hamline Invitational placed second unattached in the high jump with a mark of 2.10 meters (6-10.75) • placed 4th in the high jump unattached with a mark of 1.95 meters (6-04.75) at the 2014 Holst Invitational. A two-time All-American and three-time Big Ten champion, Zach Siegmeier will serve as director of operations for men's track & field and cross country.
Blankenship, Mead Shine in Olympic Finals
Mead and Blankenship recorded the best Olympic finishes by Gophers since Staffan Strand finished sixth in the high jump for Sweden during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
