The University of Minnesota men's track & field program opened up the 108th annual Drake Relays on Thursday night with four top-10 finishes by the Maroon & Gold.
The Gophers totaled 282 Academic All-Big Ten honorees for the 2015-16 academic year.
Goaner Deng contributed 20 points with an individual title in the 800 meters and then adding a second title as part of the 4x400 meter title squad.
Brad Neumann bounced back for a second-place finish in the 200 meters on Saturday. Neumann won his heat with a time of 21.42.

Indoor: Competed unattached at the 2015 Snowshoe Open in the 600 meter run and placed third with a time of 1:22.60. Outdoor: Ran in the Baldy Castillo Invitational, the Hamline Invitational, the Tom Cat Twilight, the Carleton Relays (finishing second in the 800 meter), the Musco Twilight, and the UW La Crosse Eagle Invitational.

Mead Set for IAAF World Championships
The men's 10,000 meters is scheduled for 3:20 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 4 at London Stadium.
