Women's track and field leads the way with 45 recognized individuals
The Minnesota men's outdoor track and field team scored 99 points in a winning effort at the 2013 Macalester/Bolstorff Twilight on Thursday night. The Gophers earned four individual titles for the program's second-straight team title at the meet.
The No. 24 Minnesota men's outdoor track and field team kicked off competition early this week with a pair of Gopher multi-eventers in competition at the Mt. SAC Relays/California Invite.
Cameron Boy (200-meter dash) and Sam Kettenhofen (long jump) picked up titles for the No. 8 Gophers.
2013 Season- Indoor: Ran 60m hurdles at the Snoewhoe Open finishing 17th (8.97) finished third in the high jump at the Snowshoe Open with a height of 21-07 1/2 (6.59) Took ninth in high jump at the Bill Bergan Invitational with a mark of 21-01 1/4 (6.43m). Outdoor: Competed in high jump at Hamline Invitational finishing seventh with a height of 6-02.00 (1.88m) saw 12th place finish at Hamline Unsaintly and Hamiline Invite competing in pole vault took 10th in the decathlon at the California Invite finishing with 6371 points competed in the decathalon at the Big Ten Championships where he took 12th and finished with 6,685 points.
2012 Season - Indoor: Scored a mark of 4,821 in the heptathlon at the Big Ten Championships also competed in the heptathlon at the Bill Bergan Invite, scoring 4,902 points. Outdoor: Competed in a total of 12 events for the outdoor season finished 13th in the decathlon at the Big Ten Championships, setting the 10th-best mark in school history with 6,988 points also finished 13th at the Mt. SAC Relays with a score of 6,448 finished second in the long jump at the Drake Alternate placed fourth in the long jump at the Golden Bear Twilight the Bolstorff Twilight Academic All-Big Ten.
