The Minnesota men's outdoor track and field team scored 99 points in a winning effort at the 2013 Macalester/Bolstorff Twilight on Thursday night. The Gophers earned four individual titles for the program's second-straight team title at the meet.
Minnesota featured 11 individual event titles including a pair of 1-2 finishes.
2012 Season - Indoor: Scored a mark of 4,821 in the heptathlon at the Big Ten Championships also competed in the heptathlon at the Bill Bergan Invite, scoring 4,902 points. Outdoor: Competed in a total of 12 events for the outdoor season finished 13th in the decathlon at the Big Ten Championships, setting the 10th-best mark in school history with 6,988 points also finished 13th at the Mt. SAC Relays with a score of 6,448 finished second in the long jump at the Drake Alternate placed fourth in the long jump at the Golden Bear Twilight the Bolstorff Twilight Academic All-Big Ten.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Cotton High School Brad Matuszak two-time Minnesota Class A triple jump champion won titles as a sophomore and senior, runner-up as a junior 2009 state runner-up in the long jump high school bests of 21-5 in the long jump and 46-0 in the triple jump scored over 2,000 points in basketball career also lettered in football a member of the National Honor Society.
