Travis cleared a personal record of 14.80 meters (48-06.75 ft.) to lead the collegiate field and pick up his second triple jump victory of the 2018 outdoor campaign (Tom Cat Twilight).
Ali finished with a time of 8:51.25 in his first 3,000 meter steeplechase competition of the year, leading the National Relays field with a performance that ranks second in the Big Ten and 20th in the nation this year.
The Gophers finished sixth out of 16 teams in the relay competitions as Minnesota competed in four of the seven relays, totaling 13 points.
The Gophers dominated the field events with five wins while adding two on the track.
Minnesota continues the 2018 outdoor campaign on Thursday, April 12 with the Tom Cat Twilight at St. Thomas in St. Paul.
