The Maroon & Gold will compete in nine events at the regional while decathlete Luca Wieland has already punched his ticket to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, June 7-10, in Eugene, Ore.
Minnesota featured 11 individual scorers at the Big Ten meet -- six of those scorers contributed in multiple events.
Minnesota earned runner-up performances from All-American high jumper Ryan Lockard and the distance medley relay team of Derek Wiebke, Jackson Wellenstein, Mitch Hechsel and Shane Streich on Saturday.
The Gophers also added three top-10 all-time performances on Friday from Mitch Hechsel, Luke May and Obsa Ali.
Three members of the Maroon & Gold picked up personal records to go with their wins including true freshman Luke May's victory in the javelin.

Outdoor: Won the 200 meters unattached with a time of 22.34 at the Hamline Invitational. • Unattached at the Carleton Relays, won the 400 meters with a time of 48.19 seconds. • Picked up a win and set a new personal record 100 meter time at 10.44 seconds in competition at the Tommie Twilight. • Added a second title at the Tommie Twilight, pacing the 400 meter field at 49.01 seconds.
Groundbreaking for T&F Stadium Set for Friday
