Minnesota earned runner-up performances from All-American high jumper Ryan Lockard and the distance medley relay team of Derek Wiebke, Jackson Wellenstein, Mitch Hechsel and Shane Streich on Saturday.
The 4x400 meter relay competition saw the Gophers squad of Brad Neumann, Jackson Wellenstein, Nate Roese and Mitch Hechsel clock a 3:09.76 for the fastest time in their heat and the second fastest time in the prelims.
