Representing the Maroon & Gold at the top of the podium at Cobb Track & Angell Field were Jonathan Webb in the 400 meters, Eric Walker in the 110-meter hurdles and Ryan Lockard in the high jump.
The Gophers dominated the field events with five wins while adding two on the track.
For the second year in a row, the University of Minnesota men’s track & field program will head back to campus with nine event titles after posting an impressive weekend at UCLA’s Bob Larsen Distance Carnival and Jim Bush Legends Invitational.
The Maroon & Gold were led runner-up showings by Sammie Houston in the triple jump, Ryan Lockard in the high jump and Alec Basten in the 2,000 meter steeplechase.
Minnesota heads into the championship season next weekend with the 2018 Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
