Minnesota Places 167 Student-Athletes On Spring Academic All-Big Ten Teams

Gophers Pick Up Team Title at Macalester, Kick Off Drake Relays
The Minnesota men's outdoor track and field team scored 99 points in a winning effort at the 2013 Macalester/Bolstorff Twilight on Thursday night. The Gophers earned four individual titles for the program's second-straight team title at the meet.
2013 Season- Indoor: Finished fifth in shot put at the Shoeshoe Open with a throw of 51-11(15.61m) Took fouth at the Northwest Open with a throw of 50-07 1/4 (14.88m) tied for first at the Jack Johnson Classic with a throw of 45-08 (13.90m). Outdoor: Finished third in shot put at the MAC Invite with a throw of 50-00 (15.24m) took fifth at the Hamline Invitational with a throw of 47-08 (14.53m) competed in the NDSU Tune UP finishing 12th with a throw of 45-05 12(13.85m) earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Owatonna High School high school coach was Jerry Eggermont letterwinner finished sixth in the shot put in his junior year and fourth his senior season two-time All-State two-time Big Nine conference in the shot put and once in the discus team MVP earned four letters in track and two in football.
Personal: born on July, 28 1992 son of John and Marcy Fenske has two siblings a Peter and Sam enjoys hunting majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
