An 2010, 2011, and 2012 NCAA Preliminary Meet competitor All-Big Ten Second Team in 2010 ranks eighth in school history in the outdoor shot put (60-1 3/4) and 10th in the weight throw (61-5 1/2).
2012 Season - Indoor: Placed fifth and set the seventh-best distance in school history in the shot put at the Big Ten Championships with a toss of 60-6 1/2 (18.45m) won the shot put at the Northwest Open with a throw of 58-7 1/4 (17.86m) won at the Jack Johnson Classic (57-10 1/2) won at the Brooks Classic (57-5) won the Snowshoe Open (57-3) finished fourth at the Husker Invite (59-8 1/2). Outdoor: NCAA West Preliminary competitor in shot put placed sixth in the shot put at the Big Ten Championships with a throw of 60-1 3/4 (18.33m) also finished 11th in discus with a toss of 171-2 (52.18m) won the shot put at the Aztec Invite with a throw of 58-1/4 finished fourth at the Mt. 2011 Season - Indoor:finished fifth at the Big Ten championships in the shot put with a toss of 59-9 ½ (18.22m) won the Snowshoe Open with a throw of 57-0 ¾ (17.39m). Outdoor: Finished 15th at the NCAA West Prelim in the shot put with a toss of 57-0 ¼ won the Baldy Castillo Invite (57-1 ½) took first at the Mesa Classic (56-11) won the Musco Twilight (56-10) and TomCat Open (55-10 ¼) had a season-best throw (173-9) in the discus at the Hamline Unsaintly letterwinner.
2010 Season - Indoor: Threw in six meets placed fourth in the shot put in the Big Ten Championships with a season-best throw of 59-11 3/4 also competed in the weight throw at the Conference meet placed fourth in the weight throw at the Bill Bergan Invitational with a career-best throw of 61-4 1/4, the eighth-best toss in school history won the shot put at the Snowshow Open. Outdoor: Competed in the shot put (54-7 1/4) and discus (158-11) at the NCAA Preliminary Meet All-Big Ten Second Team Big Ten runner-up in the shot put with a throw of 60-0 1/2, his first mark over 60 feet and the eighth-best toss in school history added a third-place finish in the Big Ten discus with a season-best throw of 172-5 an Academic All-Big Ten honoree earned his second varsity letter.
2009 Season - Indoor: Competed in six meets threw both shot put and hammer at Big Ten meet landed top effort in shot put of 56-9 1/2 at Nebraska Adidias Classic heaved the weight 60-1 1/4 at the Snowshoe Open.
