The University of Minnesota men's outdoor track & field team picked up seven titles at the Carleton Relays on Saturday at Laird Stadium.
Minnesota will compete at the Iowa State Classic as well as the Washington Husky Classic this weekend.
Minnesota has won four-straight titles at the Bill Bergan Invitational and has never finished lower than second in the meet's five-year history.
The Gophers won 11 individual titles as well as the team title at the event last season.
Gophers alum and All-American Travis Burkstrand also added an individual title at the meet.
2013 Season- Indoor: Took first in high jump at the Northwest Open with a mark of 6-10 3/4 (2.10m) and the Jack Johnson Classic with jump of 6-09 (2.06m) Finished 12th at the Big Ten Championships with a leap of 6-09 (2.06m) Finished seventh in high jump at the Iowa State Classic. Outdoor: Finished second at the Tom Cat Invitational in high jump with a mark of 6-11.75 (2.13m) ran at NCAA Regional prelims with a mark of 6-09.50 (2.11m) finished eighth at the Iowa Musco Invitational with a hight of 6-07.12 (2.01m) USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree Academic All-Big Ten.
2012 Season - Indoor: Competed in six events for the indoor season leaped 6-7 1/2 in the high jump at the Big Ten Championships, finishing 15th placed second at the Brooks Classic with a season-best jump of 6-10 3/4 (2.10m) finished third at the Snowshoe Open with a height of 6-8 3/4 (2.05m). Outdoor: Competed in a total of six events for the outdoor season jumped 6-7 in the high jump at the Big Ten Championships won the high jump at the Tom Cat Twilight with a height of 6-8 3/4 placed second at the Golden Bear Twilight with a season-best jump of 6-9 (2.06m) placed fifth at the Stanford Invite Academic All-Big Ten.
2011 Season: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Homestead High School high school coaches were Dan Benson and Todd Brawner part the 2010 Wisconsin Division 1 state championship-winning team placed fifth in the 2010 state meet in high jump with a leap of 6-4 all-state honoree in 2009 (6-7) and 2008 (6-6) with third and second place finishes, respectively three-time North Shore Conference champion in high jump also 2010 North Shore champion in long jump holds indoor and outdoor school high jump records with jumps of 6-10 also a letterwinner in basketball.
