The University of Minnesota men's track & field team picked up 10 team titles its final home meet of the season at the 2015 Snowshoe Open.
The University of Minnesota men's track & field program dominated a rare dual meet on Saturday afternoon against Border Battle rival Wisconsin, picking up a 98-59 win over the Badgers.
Minnesota picked up three titles on Saturday at the Minnesota Open.
Minnesota closes out the weekend on Sunday with All-American Jon Simons competing in the 5,000 meters at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in Stanford, Calif.
The throwers competed at two events over the weekend -- the Triton Invitational and the SMU Cardinal Open.
2015 Indoor Season: At the 2015 Minnesota Open, finished 4th with a throw of 15.57 meters (51-1.0 ft.). • In a dual at Wisconsin, placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 16.74 meters (54-11.25 ft.) which stands as a new personal record. • At the 2015 Jack Johnson Classic placed 11th in the shot put with a throw of 15.82 meters (51-11.00). • Placed 22nd in the shot put with a throw of 14.58 meters at the 2015 Iowa State Classic. • At the 2015 Snowshoe Open, placed 4th in the shot put with a throw of 15.84 meters (51-11.75). • At the 2015 B1G Indoor Championships, placed 23rd with a throw of 15.27 meters (50-01.25).
