Gophers Pick Up Team Title at Macalester, Kick Off Drake Relays

The Minnesota men's outdoor track and field team scored 99 points in a winning effort at the 2013 Macalester/Bolstorff Twilight on Thursday night. The Gophers earned four individual titles for the program's second-straight team title at the meet.

Lehman, Hutton Post Notable Performances Over Weekend

Jon Lehman notched the second longest throw in Minnesota men's indoor track and field history and the third best throw in the nation this year while Nick Hutton posted the school's second-fastest time ever in the one-mile run.

2012 Season - Indoor: Competed in a total of five events for the season • ran 4:09.76 in the mile at the Big Ten Championships • finished third in the mile run at the Jack Johnson Classic with a time of 4:09.28 • ran the eighth-fastest time in school history in the 3,000 meters at the Bill Bergan Invite (8:11.27). Outdoor: Competed in a total of 5 events for the season • finished 11th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Big Ten Championships (8:58.37) • ran the third leg for the 4x1,600-meter relay team that finished third at the Drake Relays with a time of 16:50.07 • Academic All-Big Ten.

2009-2010 Competed at the University of Oklahoma:Qualified for NCAA Nationals with the sqaud after running a 14:14 in the 5K at the Standford Invite•Competed at the Adidas Invitational recording a personal best time of 25:08 on the 8,000 meter course.
