Gophers Pick Up 14 Titles in Opener

The Gophers dominated its season opener on Saturday to the tune of 14 individual titles.

2015 Indoor Season:Took home the title in the 2015 Northwest Open in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.34 seconds. · Finished 10th in the pole vault event at the 2015 Minnesota Open with a height of 3.58 meters (11-09.00 ft.). · Placed second in the 60 meter hurdles in dual competition at Wisconsin with a time of 8.39 seconds. · Finished 10th in the Heptathalon at the 2015 Jack Johnson Classic with a point total of 4657. · At the 2015 Iowa State Classic, ran the 400 meter with a time of 50.55 seconds good for 37th and jumped a mark of 6.28 meters in the long jump good for 16th overall. · Won the 60 meter hurdles at the 2015 Snowshoe Open with a time of 8.30 seconds, placed 7th in the long jump with a mark of 6.46 meters (21-02.50) and placed 13th in the shot put with a throw of 12.38 meters (40-07.50). · At the 2015 B1G Indoor Championships, finished 15th overall with a score of 4,864. Outdoor: At the 2015 Baldy Castillo Classic, finished 12th in the long jump with a mark of 6.36 meters (20-10.50). • At the same meet. finished 9th in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.84 seconds.
