Gophers Best No. 1 Texas A&M, Tie No. 2 Arkansas for First in Fayetteville

The Gophers totaled 137 points at the meet to tie defending NCAA indoor champion and No. 2 Arkansas and top No. 1 Texas A&M in third with 129 points.

No. 19 Minnesota Claims Nine Titles at Hamline Invitational

The Gophers claimed nine individual titles at the Hamline Invitational and placed multiple competitors in the 800-meter run, the 1,500-meter run, the high jump, the pole vault and the discus throw.

High School: graduated from Eden Prairie in 2011 • high school coaches were Jeff Lindlief and Bruce Kivimaki • two time all-state selection • three time all conference in cross country • two time Section 6AA Cross Country Champion • AA Individual State Cross Country Champion in 2009 • NXN Heartland Regional Champion (15:33 in the 5K) • Minnesota Boys Cross Country Gatorade Runner of the Year • finished 29th in the state championship as a sophomore, first as a junior and third overall as a senior • took eighth in the state championships in Nordic Skiing as a senior • graduated with honors and a gold cord after earning a 3.9 GPA.
