The Gophers finished sixth out of 16 teams in the relay competitions as Minnesota competed in four of the seven relays, totaling 13 points.
Among the Maroon & Gold competitors were titles from Zach Nelson in the 200 meters (22.43), Clayton Johnson in the 600 meters (1:21.94) and Anthony Fleischfresser in the high jump (2.00 meters, 6-06.75 ft.).
Trotter and Tollefson earned back-to-back victories for Minnesota at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex with Trotter claiming the 600-meter title and Tollefson following up with a win in the 60-meter hurdles.

Ali claimed the program's first national championship in the steeplechase by breaking his own school record at 8:32.23 on Friday night at Hayward Field.
