Gophers Close Out B1G Championships

Minnesota totaled 44 points over the three-day event at Purdue's Rankin Track & Field including several top-10 performances on Sunday in the meet finale.

2015 Season - Indoor: Finished second in the one mile at the 2015 Northwest Open with a time of 4:11.30.• Took first in dual play at Wisconsin in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:39.30. • At the 2015 Iowa State Classic, placed 11th in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:05.45. • At the 2015 B1G Indoor Championships, placed 17th in his heat in the 3000 meter with a time of 8:29.49. • In the 5000 meter at the 2015 B1G Indoor's, placed 10th overall with a time of 14:06.15. 

2013 Season-Indoor:
Ran the mile at the Snowshoe Open finishing in 18th with a time of 4:26.53. Outdoor-Ran the 3000 meters at the John McDonnell Invitational finishing second whith a time of 8:47.13• also took fifth in the 3000 meters at the Iowa Musco Invitational• Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

High School: graduated from Eden Prairie in 2011 • high school coaches were Jeff Lindlief and Bruce Kivimaki • two time all-state selection • three time all conference in cross country • two time Section 6AA Cross Country Champion • AA Individual State Cross Country Champion in 2009 • NXN Heartland Regional Champion (15:33 in the 5K) • Minnesota Boys Cross Country Gatorade Runner of the Year • finished 29th in the state championship as a sophomore, first as a junior and third overall as a senior • took eighth in the state championships in Nordic Skiing as a senior • graduated with honors and a gold cord after earning a 3.9 GPA.
