Four members of the University of Minnesota men's tennis team continued play at the Metlife Lakewood Ranch Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic in Tampa, Fla., on Saturday. The tournament, which features eight teams from around the country, began on Friday and ends Sunday.
Representing Minnesota are seniors Tobias Wernet and Sebastian Gallego, junior Julian Dehn, and sophomore Rok Bonin.
Bonin, after defeating Nassim Slilam of Florida and Christian Blocker of Miami in the first two singles rounds on Friday advanced to the semifinals on Saturday before falling to Sekou Bangoura of Florida.
