FourThe University of Minnesota men's tennis team continued play at the three-day North Carolina State Invitational in Raleigh- Durham, N.C. Minnesota played South Carolina in today's flight bracket. Four Golden Gophers won singles matches, while all three doubles teams defeated South Carolina.

Freshman Harsh Mankad of Mumbai, Maharashira, India, defeated Nasir Sherazi of South Carolina, 6-2, 6-3 in only his second collegiate competition. Junior Jorge Duenas also won his match 6-3, 6-4, over Dave Nelson. Freshman Nate McLain defeated Jeff Bergman 6-3, 6-4 and sophomore Karl Sloss defeated Rodrigo Pachecho 6-4, 6-4.
