Minnesota men’s tennis, led by Geoff Young in his seventh year as head coach, has announced today the addition of Ruben Weber to the 2012-13 roster after completion of admission.

“We are very excited to have Ruben join our team this fall,” said Young of the new recruit. “He brings with him a lot of experience and plays a big game. Ruben will be a great Gopher!”

A native of Alzey, Germany, Weber was ranked at No. 7 while competing in the 18 and under category during this past year. He is sure to bring energy and enthusiasm to an already young cast of Gophers.

Minnesota’s season gets started at the Penn Invitational on Sept. 28-30.
