Teams from three different conferences will visit the Baseline Tennis Center on Saturday and Sunday as Minnesota's men's tennis team looks to recover from an 0-2 start.
The Gophers open the weekend against Wisconsin-Green Bay on Saturday at 10 a.m. before taking on Oklahoma later in the day at 6:30 p.m. Minnesota will face Drake in its only match on Sunday at 1 p.m. Wisconsin-Green Bay will meet Oklahoma at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Minnesota opened its season with a 5-2 loss to Denver and a 6-1 setback to Middle Tennessee State last weekend. The Gophers dropped 12 spots in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings to 52nd in this week's rankings.
Oklahoma is ranked 36th nationally and features the nation's 21st-ranked player in sophomore Andrei Daescu. Drake is ranked 53rd nationally and is led by the 16th-ranked player in senior Dalibor Pavic. Raoul Schwark is ranked 46th for the Gophers and looks to bounce back from losses in both of his singles matches last weekend.
