thUniversity of Minnesota senior Tom Chicoine lost his first round match of the Rolex National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Dallas, Texas, this afternoon to No. 4-seeded Robert Samuelsson of Tulane, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Chicoine will play tomorrow morning in the consolation bracket. That bracket is yet to be determined.
