Minnesota's Toledo Falls in Second Day at National Indoor Championship

Today in Flushing Meadows, N.Y., Leandro Toledo of Minnesota, faced a challenge his second day at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship. Despite leading the first match 6-2, Toledo fell to the tournament's No. 5 seed, Marcus Giron of UCLA.

In a heartbreaking loss, Toledo fell to Giron 2-6, 7-5, 6-3. After winning the first set, Toledo held the 5-4 lead in the second set. Giron pressured Toledo with big plays to comeback for the win. He would use his momentum in the third set to capture the match.

The loss ends Toledo's run at the National Indoors. It was a challenging game for him, coming out of yesterday's win.
