ITA All-American: Singles Main Draw
TULSA, Okla. – Gopher Men’s Tennis senior Matic Spec fell in the opening round of the St. Francis Health System ITA Men’s All-American Championships main singles draw on Thursday morning.
With rain continuing to keep the tournament indoors, the match was delayed by over an hour from its original start time, but once it got underway, Gustav Hansson of Ole Miss ended Spec’s bid for a main draw title with a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Spec will now await Friday’s consolation draw to wrap up the weekend's action for the Maroon & Gold.
