2010-11 •Senior Season: Went 4-6 in singles play in the fall • posted a 2-2 record at the Denver Pioneer Invitational, taking down both Angel Alvarez of Denver and Simon Hegelund in straight sets • went 4-5 in doubles in the fall, partnered with three different teammates • won the Flight B doubles consolation draw and the Big Ten Indoor Tournament in East Lansing, Mich. with Philip Arndt (10/29).

2009-10 • Junior Season:Joined Julian Dehn for a 5-2 doubles record during the fall • teamed with Dehn for three straight victories to capture the Flight A consolation title at the Big Ten indoor championships (10/30-11/2), beating Michael Sicora and Phillip Arndt 8-4 in the finals • went 2-1 in doubles at the Harvard Invitational (10/9-11) • finished 1-4 in singles during the fall, opening the season with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Tunc Kiymaz of Harvard • did not compete in singles matches in the spring • went 2-2 in spring doubles matches at No. 3 with Brendan Ruddock and Julian Dehn.

2008-09 • Sophomore Season: Did not compete in any matches.

2007-08 • Freshman Season:
Totaled a 2-11 singles record, including a 1-3 mark in dual match play • went 4-18 in doubles matches, primarily at No. 3 position • both victories came in third-set super-tiebreakers, beating Eric Plaushines of Wisconsin Green Bay (2/9) and Casey Cullen of Western Michigan in the second round of Northwestern Invitational (11/12) • joined Raoul Schwark for an 8-3 doubles win over 56th-ranked Chris Madden and Andrew Mazlin of Michigan (3/30) • competed at ITA Midwest Regional (10/18) and Big Ten singles championships (11/9) • split a pair of matches in doubles with Adam Altepeter at the Northwestern Invitational • posted two doubles wins with Dino Bilankov over Middle Tennessee State (2/3) and Wisconsin-Green Bay (2/9).

2006-07 • Redshirt Season: Did not compete in any matches.

Prior to Minnesota: Graduate of Eastview High School • head coach was Jeff Olsen • five-time letterwinner and all-Lake Conference honoree • finished second in singles at the 2006 Minnesota State High School Tournament and fourth in 2003 • helped Eastview to two Lake Conference titles • participated in the Junior Davis Cup last summer • also earned four academic letters during his prep career • member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Majoring in biochemistry • son of Fran and Robin Peterson • father played football at the University of Vermont • sister, Dana, was a four-time letterwinner with the Golden Gopher women's tennis team from 1993-96, a Minnesota assistant coach from 1997-99 and the head coach at Denver from 2000-06 • born Oct. 20, 1987.
