Finished the season 5-7 in singles and 8-18 in doubles • was 3-1 in three-set matches • clinched team wins with singles victories against Green Bay and Marquette (Jan. 31) • went 8-12 in doubles in the spring, playing primarily with Juan Pablo Ramirez, going 7-9 with a 7-7 record at the No. 3 position • was 2-3 in fall singles action, winning in his first collegiate match, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (9), against Princeton's Ben Quazzo (Oct. 31) and adding another victory against Christopher Ellis of Bates at the Lakewood Ranch Invitational (Nov. 8).

Competed with the Pro-M Tennis Academy in the Netherlands • ranked as high as 113 by ITF in 2012 • competed for both the Dutch and Venezuelan national teams and was a finalist at the Under 16 and Under 18 Dutch national championships.
